Bulbophyllum skeatianum
Bulbophyllum skeatianum is a miniature sized species within the Bulbophyllum genus. Our plants are full grown, flowering size, in 1.5 in round pots. These plants will make ideal amphibian and orchid terrarium plants as they will remain small and compact. Plants are growing in sphagnum moss to retain moisture. This is a great plant for the micro-mini orchid collector.
Found from Malaysia and Laos on ridgetop hill forests at elevations of 1200 to 1750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to intermediate growing epiphyte. Grow in lower light (1500 fc). Plants bloom in the later summer on a 4" [10 cm] long inflorescence with an umbel of several [10] flowers held above the leaf.
